Setting the Code

Set dials to 1111 and open the lock by pressing the Locking Button, on the end of the Locking Mechanism.

 

Pull out the Locking Bar.

 

Fit the “U-Shaped" Code Key (supplied with each unit) in to the two small holes on the end of the Locking Unit – see picture below.

 

Push the “Code Key” in fully against the spring, as far as it will go – to disengage the mechanism.

 

Rotate the dials to assign the new 4-digit code.

 

Pull out the “Code Key”.

 

Close the lid and push in the Locking Bar, then press the Locking Button on the end and push the Locking Bar in to the Locking Mechanism.

 

Scramble the numbers to ensure that the unit cannot be opened by others (without the 4-digit code).

The new number is now programmed in to the KeepSafe unit
